What Did Your Character Wish For? 'One more adventure'
What Potion Did They Receive? Scarlet potion
Did They Drink It? Not yet! But she will, and it will manifest as fire magic. Like Elsa, it'll be linked to her emotional state, so this is fine. :)
Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
That would be Elsa! Much as she loves Kristoff and has grown closer to him over the years, Elsa will always come first in Anna's priorities. Even now, with Elsa having found her own strength and identity, there's no doubt that Anna would continue to worry over her. She would throw herself in front of a swinging sword to protect her sister all over again. Being apart from her after all the effort Anna went through to mend their relationship is going to be very hard on her.
2. What are they most afraid of?
Having spent years and years in near solitude, being shut out by her sister and lied to by her parents (who then left her and died), Anna's biggest fear is being left alone again. Having doors shut in her face, being given the cold shoulder, being pushed out of the lives of her loved ones... She doesn't want to go through that ever again. She wants to be an active part in other people's lives, and she wants to do right by them. She believes that if she isn't 'needed', she'll be abandoned again. This can be seen even in Frozen 2, when told after the Earth Giants pass by the camp that Kristoff went off with Ryder somewhere. She's horrified at the fact that he just left without saying anything to her. The abandonment issues are strong in this one.
3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Anna is very impulsive; she leaps before she looks, and speaks before she thinks. If she sees something happening, she reacts in an instant, which can put her in danger very fast. Elsa is surrounded by fire? Let's run into fire! Her need to put other people before herself is very detrimental to her own safety. Besides, even with the dose of reality that was given to her in the first movie, she's still a romantic and an idealist, to the point where it could leave her open to trusting the wrong people.
4. What would make them happiest?
A happily ever after with her family! She just wants to be surrounded by her loved ones, knowing that they care about her and with them knowing that she cares about them. And naturally, she wants those loved ones to be safe and sound, as well. It's best summarized in a song called Home, which was written for Frozen 2 but never made it into the final product. "I’m grateful for this castle, and for everything we've got. Especially my family, we've all been through a lot. I know how fragile things can be. If I lost them, I'd lose me. They're my ocean, they're my shore, I wanna give them more. They're my home." This is what makes her such a good queen, too; Her happiness is found in the happiness of the people she cares about, and her care extends to her entire kingdom.
5. What’s their type for a lover?
Originally, she believed her true love would be someone who was just like her. Someone goofy and energetic, and perfectly in sync with her. But then she came to learn that true love is something that develops over time, with two people who might be a little different but learn to come together despite those differences. That's what real love is; it's overcoming obstacles and making sacrifices. That's what ultimately drew her to Kristoff, who's selfless and kind (and his own brand of goofy), but still brutally honest when he needs to be. He's more down to Earth than Anna is, which helps to ground her, especially in the early stages of their relationship.
