Ugh... why do people get so... so stupid when they want power? They never even want to do anything with it, they just want it, so they hurt people for it.
[Not that he's bitter, it's just that people like that have been the bane of his existence for years now.]

It's not even just the vizier I told you about. There's also been an elemental force of evil, some criminals with delusions of grandeur, an evil sorcerer...

Even when they win, they never use the power for anything. They just sit around and feel proud of themselves until we wind up beating them.
Well, that's even stranger, then. Why go through all that and not even be satisfied? Maybe if they just settled for finding happiness in the little things instead of useless grabs for power, their lives would be much nicer.
